-CURRICULUM VITAE- NUNO Miguel Pereira de Sousa GUIMARÃES, photojournalist, born in 1975 in Porto,Portugal. Formed in Photography in the A.C.E,(Contemporary Art Academy), Porto. Frequented the Photography course in the Youth Portuguese Institute, in Porto. It carried through a period of training in Photography of News articles, Fashion and Advertising in "Istituto Europeo di Design", in Milan, Italy, inserted in the professional course of the A.C.E. It worked as Technician of Laboratory in the Kodak and as a Photographer Assistant in Studio. It collaborated in Photojournalism for the daily periodical "Manhã Popular" and for the Magazine "Factos", of the Semanário Weekly Group and for diverse magazines of Impala Group, from 1997 to 2000. In 1998, it later carried through a news article on Brazilian music in Salvador da Bahia and Natal, Brazil, published in Portugal. In 1999, awarded with the Best Social Photographer of the Year (River Award), of Nocturn Events, by the River Caffé company, in Porto,Portugal. It worked in the year of 2000, in the daily periodical "Tribuna do Norte", in Natal(Brazil), having made a special news article about Natal neighborhoods, in commemoration of the 400 years of the city. It worked in periodicals "Diário de Natal", "Jornal Metropolitano", also in the same city. It participated in collectives Photography Expositions "Cavalo de Ferro, XL Format",in the Station of S.Bento, in Porto, for the Gallery Space T, and "O Outro Lado da Nudez", in the same gallery. Individual Photography exhibition "Devoções", in the Bar/Gallery Labirintho, in Porto. Currently working as a freelancer.
